Large-scale disasters and their management

Bachelor thesis "Mass accident and their management" deals with the problem with management extraordinary events. The aim of this study is to resume the basic information and pieces of knowledge concerned the theme of the mass accidents. It is a theoretical study with practical instructions. By the processing of this work is gone from the specialized literature and from the up-to- date thesis relating to different kinds of catastrophes and mass accidents. At the beginning of the thesis there is described what the medicine of catastrophe is and a little bit of the history of this medicine branch. Next part of the study deals with classification of the catastrophes. Some catastrophes, which destroy our earth, for example tsunami in Asia in 2004 and floods in the Czech Republic in 1997 and 2002 are mentioned. The study introduces integrated rescue system and organization in place of the extraordinary event. More closely my study devotes the classification of the wounded. In this part there are the charts, which are used to classification. Finally there are the basics of first aid of some injuries introduced in this work. The study mentions the contagious diseases, epidemic hazards and psychological effects of mass accidents. In study there is the case reports and the manual "What do when the siren sounds"....
Biological changers of CNS caused by trauma

This thesis focuses on traumatic brain injury and its negative impact on both the brain as a whole and component brain structures. The first two chapters of the theoretical part summarize the information of the anatomy and functions of central nervous system and the most common causes of traumas and its characteristics. The crucial part of the thesis consists of the psychological consequences of traumas arranged according to brain lobe that plays the major role in a clinical manifestation of impaired functions. The thesis also sums up the field of neurodiagnotics and mentions some concrete methods that are being used when dealing with patients after traumas. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with possibilities and examples of neurorehabilitation as well as factors which are involved in the prognosis of the posttraumatic condition. A part of this chapter also pays attention to the brain plasticity. The last two chapters in this segment refer to other literature from this field. The empirical part presents the research proposal of changes of the brain parts that are involved in facial emotion recognition among TBI patients. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to describe psychological consequences in certain professions. These were divided according to educational requirements. With the help of relevant literature and the Internet resources, the theoretical base of this issue was defined.The research was carried out in the form of a survey, observation, interviews and document analysis. Based on the findings of the research, proper improvement in dealing with unemployed persons was recommended by the author in the conclusion.
